Onboarding process – five simple steps

Welcome! To streamline your onboarding process when working with Staffmore, we offer a checklist for your reference. Your Staffmore expert Recruiting Coordinator and Credentialing Assistant will guide and support you through this process. We are here to answer any questions you have along the way!

What can you expect

Step 1 – CALL US – Staffmore (215)772-0101 or e-mail us your interest and resume at Elizabeth@staffmore.com or info@staffmore.com . Let us know what type of position you are seeking or simple express general interest.

Step 2 – INTERVIEW – come in for an interview. We are located at the Arsenal Business Center at the corner of Bridge and Tacony Streets with plenty of onsite parking and easy access to public transportation. To expedite your process please refer to the checklist and bring with you any documents you may already have available. It is best to arrive a little early so you can complete the employment application (or you may complete ahead of time by clicking here – make sure to print and bring with you). Your interview with your Staffmore Recruiter will last 30 to 45 minutes

Step 3 – CREDENTIAL – complete the credentialing process which may include CPR/First Aid training offered on site, educational transcripts, degrees and licenses (where applicable). PA and FBI clearances. If you do not have your clearances, you can secure them by either going online (please click here for list and links to websites) or doing it at the time of your interview at our location (please bring cash or your credit/debit card to pay for your clearance)

Step 4 – TRAINING – completing online training modules we will assign to you according to the position you are seeking and the trainings you may have already completed elsewhere

Step 5 – ORIENTATION – come in for an orientation meeting where we will review expectations, any additional training needed, pay schedule, and address any additional questions you may have. At this meeting you will also have the opportunity to meet with the various department leaders and staff that you will interact with during your time at Staffmore.

Beyond onboarding

Staffmore’s Staffing and Training Manager will reach out to you with available opportunities. Our Staffing and Training Manager also maintains ongoing contact with you to make sure you are satisfied with your experience at your agency and address any concerns you may have.

Case Manager

Description : Manager in the adult healthcare field – both a direct care and a leadership position. Competitive salary, health & dental, retirement plan, and opportunity for upward growth in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Relevant experience in management, leadership, healthcare or education.

Residential Counselor

Description : This is a chance to work with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, helping to change and improve the lives of adults in need. You will be providing care to adults who require assistance within a safe, supervised living situation. Competitive salary, medical, dental & vision, retirement plan, and opportunities for upward growth.

Qualifications : Bachelor’s Level plus 1 year or HS plus 3 years

In-Community Support professional

Description : Provide direct one-on-one care and assistance to individuals requiring living assistance, under the supervision of experienced healthcare professionals. Competitive salary, supplemental income, career growth and training working with a dedicated team of professionals, part-time with opportunity to pick up more hours with a larger case load.

Qualifications : High School diploma plus 6 months experience working with DD population preferred

Behavior Specialist Consultant (BSC)

Description : The BSC designs functional approaches for changing a child’s problematic behavior into more adaptive behavioral functioning.

Qualifications : One of the following:

Licensed Behavioral Specialist with a PA License; OR Licensed professionals in any of the following : Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Professional Counseling; OR An individual with a master’s degree from an accredited university in a Clinical Mental Health Discipline such as: Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, Family or Marriage Therapy***specific course requirements in the foundations of behavioral health and the provision of mental health services must be met; PLUS (2) years verified Post-Masters experience providing behavioral health treatment to children (with at least 1 year using behavior analysis/modification (or ABA) techniques.

BHRS Fee for Service Psychologist

Description : the lead clinician in the facilitation and assessment of a child’s behavioral health services. The Fee for Service Psychologist, in collaboration with all treatment team members, prescribes medically necessary behavioral health services to meet the individual needs of the identified child.

Qualifications : Licensed Doctoral level psychologist with clinical experience; Experience working with children; Act 33 clearance./p>

CUA Case Manager

Description : As a Case Manager, there are many responsibilities that need to be carried out on a day-to-day basis which means there may not be a such thing as a typical day in Case Management. On an average day, a Case Manager will spend time doing the following:

  • Meeting with Clients
  • Filling out Paperwork
  • Meeting with Care Teams
  • Advocating for Clients
  • Creating or Assisting in the creation of Care Plans
  • Making Home & Court Visits

Qualifications : 1 – 3 years Case Management work experience; Completion of a bachelor’s degree in social work at an accredited college or university; A master’s degree in Social Work may be substituted for two years of experience.

FIR Case Manager

Description : works directly with the participants court stipulated for treatment services with oversight from the Adult Probation and Parole departments. The primary responsibilities are to ensure that services are provided to participants and documented according DAP, CBH, Forensic Services and employer requirements.

Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in related field and one year of direct participant contact and/or drug and alcohol setting, preferred.

Mental Health Professiona

Description : To provide mental health services to individuals with Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Qualifications : Licensed Mental Health Clinician OR Master’s Degree in a related field/p>

Mobile Therapist

Description : Provide intensive therapeutic services to a child and family in settings other than a provider agency or office. The basic intervention technique is to assist the child/family in communicating their needs/issues and to help them to better understand and resolve issues that impede emotional development and growth. Other potential settings for the Mobile Therapist services include school, church, community center, neighbors or extended family member’s home and other community settings.

Qualifications : Licensed Mental Health Profession OR Master’s Degree in a related field.

Psychiatrist

Description : Provide Clinical Supervision to Outpatient Therapy Staff through review of treatment plans; Medication management of OP/BHRS clients; Psychiatric evaluations and assessment of patient continuity of care; Collaborate with Patient Medical Treatment Team./p>

Qualifications : M.D or D.O.; Valid and Current PA Medical License; DEA Certificate number.

Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS)

Description : Provides Clinical Supervision to Outpatient Therapy Staff through review of treatment plans; Medication management of OP/BHRS clients; Psychiatric evaluation and assess patient continuity of care; Collaborate with Patient Medical Treatment Team.

Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in related field, OR Licensed Registered Nurse, OR Associate’s Degree and verified work experience with direct contact to patients and/or those in treatment.
